Rotherham Social Prescribing

The Learning Community are proud to be a provider to the Rotherham SPS project and are now entering our 7th year of delivery which is funded by the NHS. We offer a range of support to include Digital, Employment, Social, Food and Wellbeing Inclusion.

We offer home delivery support to those who are unable to get out and work around our learners needs and capabilites or meet in local community hubs for those who are socially isolated and happy to meet outside of their home environment.

Our referrals come from both Long Term Conditions and Mental Health Provision and our learners range from the tender age of 18 to the wonderful age of 97.

We have digiital equipment to loan to those without to include tablets, laptops and mobile devices. We have sim cards to give to those in need and ocassionaly receive equipment such as tablets and internet connnection to give to learners to keep.

We work in partnership with Ability Net who provide specialist equipment for those with learning or physical disabilities to ensure no one is discrimated or excluded
